Applying To Be A Host Family
If you are interested in being a host family, please contact your local Rotary Club or CONTACT US for more information.
In accordance with regulations of the US Department of State, all host families are required to complete a vetting process prior to hosting a student. This includes the following:
- In-home interview prior to the students arrival
- Host Family Application - web application
- must upload 5 photos of your home, including one each of the home exterior, living room or family room, the kitchen, the students bedroom and bathroom
- 3 References - completed via the web
- Complete and pass a Background check (for each family member over the age of 18 living in the household)
- Participate in a training/orientation session prior to the students arrival
- Within 30 days of the students arrival a second representative of Rotary will visit to ensure that everything is going well
