15 Nov 2024 Inbound student trip to NYC Nov 15, 2024 - Nov 17, 2024 Additional details will be available soon. Here's what you need to know now....you won't want to miss this weekend!! Friday we will meet at a committee members home. We will visit New York City all day and into the evening Saturday...let's hope for perfect weather! On Sunday, we will get the students to Rose's home for a FriendsGiving celebration. Students will be dropped off and picked up at two different locations. Additional details will be emailed directly to students and host families.
07 Dec 2024 Ambler Holiday Parade & Gift Exchange Dec 07, 2024 - Dec 08, 2024 We get to march in a holiday parade! It's with great pride we share our Rotary Youth Exchange enthusiasm during the Ambler Holiday parade. We will carry our country flags as we march through the community. A gift exchange will take place between the students after the parade. We'll sleep over at Linda's home and go to the Outbound Interviews together as a group.

05 Jan 2025 Outbound Orientation / International Meal Jan 05, 2025 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM This is our first official meeting of 2025 and will include the current inbound students as well as the future outbound students. This is a pot luck international meal in the Allentown, PA area. Reach out to Gail Micca for location informaiton if needed. All details are in the email from the district chair. Arrive between 9:45am - 10am - pick up approximately 4pm This is our international pot luck. Everyone brings something from their country to share. *We do have 2 people with Glueten Allergies, so please let us know if it's not glueten free. Outbound student and family training will start the day. You will meet the current inbound exchange students and learn their stories. We will reveal any country assignments which have been identified and share a tremendous meal together. The event will end around 4pm. At least one inbound student parent must attend and all parents are welcome. We just ask for a head count in advance to ensure we have enough food for all.
11 Jan 2025 IB ONLY Harrisburg Trip Jan 11, 2025 8:00 AM - Jan 12, 2025 3:00 PM Our current inbound students will visit the Capitol Building and attend the PA Farm Show and Rodeo. This will be an overnight trip and we will be sleeping over at another Rotarians home. Please bring sleeping bag and pillow and towels with you. Your driver will contact you with a time to meet up along the way. Wear your RYE black t-shrit on Saturday and bring your hoodie in case it's chillly in the farm show complex. Bring your country flag for photos. Meals will be provided. Bring extra cash for snacks and souvenirs. (They have PA famous milk shakes!)
08 Feb 2025 NYC Trip to see MJ Musical Feb 08, 2025 Inbound students only! Trip to NYC to see MJ the Musical and a little time to explore the big apple. We will be driving in early Saturday morning and returning late Saturday evening. We will coordinate rides with the students directly.
21 Feb 2025 All exchange student Flag Ceremony Feb 21, 2025 All the current and future exchange students will attend the Rotary President Elect training session. We will have a parade of flags before the dinner on Friday evening. More details to come. Students will arrive in King of Prussia around 5pm and depart around 9pm. Rides will be coordinated.
15 Mar 2025 Lancaster Trip Mar 15, 2025 - Mar 16, 2025 All exchange students! Trip to our nation's capitol has been postponed. We are heading to Lancaster instead.
04 Apr 2025 District Conference Apr 04, 2025 - Apr 06, 2025 All exchange students will attend the multi-district conference in Hershey PA. We will be staying in hotels and attending the sessions. Plan a late return home on Sunday evening.
25 Apr 2025 Washington DC trip Apr 25, 2025 - Apr 27, 2025 We are being hosted by D7620 for our Washington DC trip. Details will be emailed to students and families. This trip is for long term exchange students both IB and OB.
26 Apr 2025 Short Term Exchange Orientation Apr 26, 2025 1:00 PM Orientation for outbound short term exchange students and their families. Details will be provided closer to the date. This event will be near Mertztown, PA. Long term exchange students are not participating in this activity.
03 May 2025 Multi District event all exchange students May 03, 2025 - May 04, 2025 All exchange students will attend! This is a joint event with D7410. Details to follow for this event. Plan on an early start Saturday morning and a sleepover.
